Visiting Seattle Concert Venues

Like lots of other big metroplitan cities, there is not any lack of entertainment in Seattle.One of the best things about the city includes the opportunity to catch a live concert. Concert places in Seattle include absolutely everything from tiny clubs to large arenas. Facilities throughout Seattle host a variety of musical entertainment for audiences of all ages. Whether guests want to see classical performances, modern or country, Seattle concert venues offer shows nightly.

The Triple Door

The Triple Door is probably one of the concert places in Seattle that typically pulls crowds of all ages, but usually has entertainment that appeals to audiences aged between 20 and 40. Huge name entertainers infrequently showcase their talent, but the venue is basically known for hosting local up and coming bands. Ticket costs go from $12 to $50, depending on the particular act performing. The facility has a seating capacity of 425 and standing room for 500. Booths and freestanding tables make up staggered rows of seating beginning at the front of the stage, traveling toward the back of the building, and along the sides. A bar serves non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks and a kitchen prepares Asian inspired multi-course meals.

Benaroya Hall

Seattle concert venues include this sizeable facility, located in the centre of the city, and spans an entire city block. The establishment features two performance halls, which largely host classical and jazz artists, with occasional celebrity experts. Show tickets begin at around $40, climb upward and alter according to particular shows and desired seats. The facility seats 2,500 and floor seating starts in front of the orchestra pit, continuing to the back of each hall. The theater also features mezzanine seating, on three levels that form a U-shape around the fringe of the hall. The facility features two lobby bars and a coffee/dessert island, provided by celebrity chef personality Wolfgang Puck. Refreshments are served an hour and a half performances and continue to be available through intermission. The facility also provides on site security 24/7.

The Paramount Theater

The theater offers one of the most high profile and history rich concert locations in Seattle. The Paramount Theatre offers entertainment for audiences of any age group. The facility regularly hosts celebrity entertainment from up to date pop artists to country and jazz performers. The location also hosts musicals and stand-up personalities. Dependent upon the particular guest, entertainer or band, tickets range from $50 for mezzanine seats to over $350 for central floor seats. The facility seats 2,800 folk and contains wall to wall floor seating in addition to three levels of mezzanine seats, located on the back wall of the hall. A concession stand offers theme related alcoholic cocktails, light meals and beverages.

The Key Arena

The arena continually hosts sports events, but also includes a range of country and rock concerts. The facility has a capacity of 17,000 and seating configurations change with the type of show presented. The location has general admission, first and second level seating, with tickets starting from $25 to over $300, contingent on the musical event. Like other massive sports facilities, the Key Arena offers a range of concessions that retail everything from alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and snacks to mementos. The facility in addition provides onsite emergency medical assistance from trained staff, housed in the first aid area.
