Factors To Remember When Installing RGB Laser Show System

By Joanna Walsh

Having a night presentation and event requires you to use lighting as much as possible. You have many options that you can choose when you are worried about the lighting of the stage for your presentation or event. If you want a good one, then you should consider having an RGB laser show system.

This should be the kind of equipment that you will have to get when you want to take advantage of lasers to light up the stage and hype up the excitement that the audience feels. If you think that this is one of the lighting you should have, then know what you should consider when picking this. Here are some of those factors to know of.

First, you have to know how to get the proper beam direction. The equipment will be shooting off beams so you have to put it at the right position. That way, the beams can be aimed at its proper course. As much as possible, the position of the beams should be right above the heads of the audience attending the said shows.

The graphic screens should be one of your consideration as well. You need to pick the right graphics screen for your work. Instead of the front-projection usual in day shows, it is better to have the rear-projection. After all, this will allow the audience to avoid seeing the beams, which then gives a magical feel for the graphics they are seeing.

It is important that you are aware of the equipment positioning as well. It is not just about the screen or the beams. You also have to worry about the direct-feed projects since these are what join the lasers as well as scanners to create a single projector unit. You have to do a proper job at the positioning of the equipment you are using.

The control positioning and set-up time should be considered as factors for choosing the said stage equipment as well. The lasers require a set-up time and you need to control the console space requirement such as lighting and audio. This is so that everything will be in sync and nothing will look out of place.

Safety regulations should be one of your concerns with regards to the use of the projectors and related equipment. You have to know what those recognized safety regulations are and follow them so that you do not have any troubles. Aside from the said regulations, government and federal laws must be followed as well.

Measure the ceiling heights. In the requirement by the state, it is normally required of you to have at least ten feet or three meters above where people could stand as well as eight feet or two and a half meters for people to reach sideways. You have to follow this requirement since this is also for the safety of the audience.

There may be reflective surfaces that are present in the area. It is required of you to pay close attention to these reflective surfaces, like chandeliers or mirror strips, since you do not want the beams to bounce off of these. To avoid any stray reflections, then you should cover the beams from them. That is also one of the precautions you can take for the sake of the audience.
