Different religions round the world have different beliefs and traditions. Islam for example, has emphasized the use of Islamic turban. This has been in their culture for all faithful to wear. Nations that have this religion as the main one truly encourage the use of this garment. It is used specifically to cover the heads of faithful whether young ones or adults, men or women.

The piece of fabric is enfolded on the head to a position where the crown is invisible. In doing this, relevant skills need to be in the person for him or her to tie it well as per the set rules and regulations. All these are taught in their classes.

Wrapping the head using this garment could be a difficult thing for some people within this religion. This is normally the case especially when the cloth is very long. In the process, others may tie it so tight that it ends up having adverse effects on them such as recurring headaches and a feeling of not being at ease with it. This calls for practice that leads to perfection with time.

Availability of these pieces of clothes is in different colors with specifications and preference being centered on white, black, green and navy blue. There is no limitation that has been imposed on color. This means that a religious person has freedom to choose any color that he or she feels comfortable with at all times. The leaders do know that such variations are bound to arise as a result of differences in preferences.

Fine materials are used to make and devise them. These ones determine the entire costs of each. Some of those used are silk, cotton and synthetics. Preference is based on these ones since they are light and offer maximum comfort to the head. The heavy ones are not favorable especially in areas where temperatures within the day are very high.

The importance of this garment is specifically for distinction and identification purposes. It differentiates Muslim faithful from non-Muslims. That is why it has been in use for ages since time in memorial. It carries a lot of importance in strengthening the social ties within this religion. It is for this reason strictness is observed to ensure everyone wears it in a good manner.

In women, this is a common phenomenon. They must adhere to it especially when appearing in public places. Their covering is quite different from that of men. It involves covering the entire head and face, only for a small space to be left for the eyes. This is an act which they perceive to be of purity and courtesy. It is their unpretentious way of wearing attires especially for married ladies.

Using Islamic turban as per the rules of Muslims is vital in portraying a number of human qualities that go hand in hand with this religion. These are a sense of respect for both the individual and religious views and laws. As for men it is for showing their manhood and strength in what they believe in especially during the periods of conducting prayers and fasting. They have to pray with their heads covered.
