Chicago Actors Are All Over The Globe

By Jayne Rutledge

There are many Chicago actors living all over this wonderful planet. These people are very talented and most of them were raised in very poor households. They had to fight their way to the top since many people with money tried to keep them on the bottom. You will also find that these individuals are very down to Earth.

If a person enjoys the show "Saturday Night Live" then they would remember the talented Bill Murray being part of the cast. He really came onto the scene after Chevy Chase resigned from the show. Bill was very funny in most of his sketches and he learned his acting skills from many theatre groups in Illinois. Everyone loves his performance in the movie "Caddyshack."

The very sad but beautiful Jennifer Beals did not have an easy life while growing up in the worst part of this city. She became famous at the age of nineteen when she won the key role in the movie "Flashdance." Even though she did not do any of her own dancing in this movie people still loved and adored her.

There is no other actor on Earth like the incredible Harrison Ford. This man will make major dollars for any studio whenever his name is featured on a film. Americans have come to know this windy city resident over the past few decades. They will see his "Indiana Jones" movies over and over no matter how silly the plot may be.

Harrison was always proud of his Illinois heritage and he tells everyone about his struggles while growing up. He almost gave up on acting when a producer stated that he really had no talent. This made him more determined than ever to be the best thespian around.

A person who grew up watching Mickey Mouse will certainly know the name of Walt Disney. Mr. Disney gave the world many memorable princess characters that still stand strong in this century. He is the founder of Walt Disney World and his family currently owns ABC television in America.

Jennifer Hudson started off as a shy fat girl in this popular town. She had always dreamed about becoming a singer and sang for her church every weekend. In a few years Ms. Hudson became successful after people watched her on the classic television show "American Idol." She has now become a very pretty slender woman who has gained great respect from her fans. Unfortunately a crazy killer also killed her family several years ago.

Chicago actors can also lead very tragic lives since John Belushi died too young. He was always very funny on television and in many films. "Saturday Night Live" was very lucky to have him for a few years. He moved on to the "Blues Brothers" which made him even more famous. Mr. Belushi could not handle all of this success and decided to do as many drugs as possible. He finally died from an overdose and people often compare him to Chris Farley. Chris was also very fat and funny during his lifetime.
