Learning institutions are very prominent and vital places for the young generation. They are places that every person spent almost a quarter of their life and people still feel emotionally tied to them even after they graduate. For this reason, most institutions encourage these students to create school mascot murals which are visual graphics to help the learners to keep a bond with their school.

It is a normal thing to find that every institution has its traditions and memories that are mostly kept in wall drawings. The academic facilities even use them as a way to communicate effectively in cases where the communication cannot be done verbally. Also, students tend to be more influenced by paintings. Thus they tend to remember drawings better than text hence making learning more accessible.

Paintings act as a sense of unity among people especially students because they all have a common thing in their lives. They act as their identity so long as they are in that academy, and they feel more attached to the school. Most people normally like to be identified according to their ethnicity, citizenship or age-groups. Likewise, students like being associated with their learning institutions.

The wall paintings usually build the pride of a institution as well as the spirit to continue excelling. The motto, logos, colors, and slogans are useful icons that the organizations identify themselves with. On top of that, the images depict how the academy upholds its standards and pride, making students eager to learn. This makes them more intelligent and responsible.

Another important factor is that the graphics usually promotes sportsmanship. Sports are huge events that bring people together especially in the learning institutions. Sports represent a tie to all these students no matter the differences in their grades, classes and even their focus on study. The wall symbols become motivating slogans to do well in sports and bolster the unity of these students.

No institution does not have tradition and culture. In the same way, academic institutions have cultures and traditions that make it have its legacy. Good morals and character of these leaner are mostly acquired from the institutions because that is the place they spend most of a day in. Thus, the leaner grow up to be very responsible people.

Another important aspect of these visual symbols is to celebrate the sweet and unique memories when these students graduate. This is because the wall graphics are meant to last for quite a long time. Thus people can vividly remember them when they are no longer in the institution. The paintings are a way of telling the story of the institution, and every special memory is stored in the mind of this student for a long time.

More so, the wall paintings are a way of positively impacting the leaner as well as the society. All people that passed through the institutions can say that it acted as a stronghold of their character, apart from learning. Therefore, the images and symbols are important in shaping the character of these students and help them to lead better lives once they are out of school.
