Social Media Savvy Celebrities, With Internet Marketing Companies

By Robbie Sutter

Social media has become one of the most engaging tools in the world. All you have to do is look at the ways in which celebrities have implemented these websites to further themselves, even if you didn't realize it at the time. Many of these actors, athletes, and other public figures do not receive nearly as much credit as they should for their social media savvy. As a matter of fact, here are just a few of the individuals that Internet marketing companies can tell you about.

When it comes to social media-savvy celebrities - and Facebook users will know this name well - George Takei ranks highly. While he's best known as Hikaru Sulu from "Star Trek," Takei went on to become quite a name on social media. As a matter of fact, his own page on the networking platform has more than 9.7 million likes, which speaks volumes about how engaging his content is. This is just of many social-savvy public names to mention.

Ellen DeGeneres has done rather well for herself on social media, too. While her bread and butter continues to be her popular talk show, it's important to note that she has taken advantage of digital media as well. Think back to 2014, when she took that popular selfie featuring a number of actors at the Oscars. It has since become a hit and it goes to show just how savvy Ellen is when it comes to this particular platform.

While the celebrities discussed earlier aren't social media slouches, they don't seem to come close to Lady Gaga. According to authorities on the matter like www.fishbat.com, the famous musician is quite prominent on social media, as evidenced by her 17 million followers and 60 million followers on Instagram and Twitter, respectively. It's also worth noting that her Facebook page stands at over 61 million likes. Suffice it to say, Lady Gaga is nothing short of a social media success.

Even though there have been other successful celebrities on social media, the ones discussed earlier are among the top tier. They have been able to create engaging content, marketing themselves in the process. What this means is that if you want to find success in your own right, it wouldn't be out of the question to follow their cues. Who's to say that you won't be more inclined to use social media in the future?
