The Process Of A Voice Over

By David Reed

These days, people have very high expectations when it comes to their music and their videos which is why sound editing and video editing is a very big thing. One of the most important aspects of sound and video editing is creating a voice over. Voice overs are usually done to mask low quality sounds in an audio clipping or a video clipping.

Now, if one would want to enter the field of production, the first thing that one has to do is learn how to edit sounds to mark low quality sounds. Of course, one has to make sure that he has an editing software that can do this kind of work. Here are a few things that one can do in order to do the process.

Now, the first thing that one would have to do is learn why this kind of editing skill is very crucial to learn. The thing about sound editing is that one has to make sure that the final output is of good quality by masking everything that was of bad quality in the previous clip. One can work with both video files and audio files for this kind of job.

Now after knowing why it is very important how to do this process, the next thing that one can do is now is begin the process itself. The first step is for one to use his ears and examine the parts that need covering because they are of bad quality. Once one has already examined and studied all those parts, then one can now pull out all of his recording devices to record the new file.

The second thing that one has to do next is to launch a really good quality sound and video editor so that one can do the masking. The really awesome thing about these editors is that they are quite easy to use. Unlike in those older days, using a sound machine was much trickier and it was much harder to edit videos due to absence of technology.

First of all, for videos, one should first boot up a good video editor and upload the video file there. After that, all one has to do is just upload the newly recorded audio file into the software and put it over the part that needs masking. It is as simple as that.

For sound files, the process is pretty much the same except one will have to use a sound editor. Probably one of the most recommended sound editors that one can use would be Audacity as Audacity is very user friendly. With this sound editor, one can also edit the audio file a bit to fit the existing file.

So as one can see, it is actually pretty simple to do some sound masking. Of course, this is one of the most important parts of the sound and video editing process. In order to make it big in the production industry, it is very important to perfect this process.
