Learning About Old Mystery TV Shows

Young people everywhere are trying to find out about the shows that their parents watched in the past. There are quite a few old mystery tv shows that can still be located on any television station. Viewers have always found "The X-Files, " "Josie And The Pussycats, " "Scooby-Doo" and other programs to be interesting and entertaining.

Miss Marple was one cool character who could be seen every Saturday night on a Public Broadcasting Station within America. Agatha Christie struck pure gold when she created this versatile character who could always solve any crime which happened. Everyone around knew that Joan Hickson portrayed this lovable and energetic older woman.

Joan lived for many years and she had been performing in England for many decades before her passing. No other actress could ever replace this brilliant woman since she had so much grace and style. Viewers were always delighted to see Miss Marple apprehend the bad guys whenever the show ended.

"Unsolved Mysteries" really focused on true life crime stories which happened across the globe. Sometimes these cases were national and on other occasions they were international. The police were able to obtain many of the murderers and rapists because of this television show. An actor named Robert Stack hosted the series for its entire run.

"Scooby-Doo" is a well known American cartoon character who enjoyed solving crimes each and every week. Fred, Velma, Shaggy and Daphne accompanied Scooby on his weekly missions. The villains within this series never tried to kill Scooby and his crew which was very unusual. This particular show tried to be light hearted and the producers did not want to frighten young children who were viewing the show. Fortunately this was one cartoon show which lasted for many years and it had a variety of spin-offs.

The producers decided to use real life singers for the voices of Josie, Valerie and Melody on a series called "Josie And The Pussycats." All three of these girls were very pretty and they were also detectives. The viewers were treated to their singing talents on each episode and some of the recordings became big hits. One character named Alexandra is featured more on the television series than she is within the comic books. Alexandra also had magical powers in the earlier comic magazines.

Fox Mulder and Dana Scully spent most of their nights investigating monsters and other horrible creatures on "The X-Files." This dynamic duo battled many violent and hideous demons who were residing within a small suburban community. Anyone watching the series was always in for a complete and unexpected shock.

FOX Television was lucky to have this hit series over the airwaves. It was also quite interesting that the lead male character became obsessed with dirty movies while his female counterpart was really uptight. All of the people living in America had the chance to learn about ghostly events while this show was on.
