By Deanne Shepard

There is no doubt that people will always want to know that there are two sides to the human coin. This can be seen in the success of old mystery TV shows, violent video games and other award winning shows where death plays an integral part of the main plot.

When a person becomes complacent, they tend to want to find a way to fill the void. This internal turmoil can sometimes lead them to act in a manner that is not part of to what society dictates. The sad truth is that there are just too many people who are prone to violence as means of getting what they want. They see no wrong in these actions and therefore pursue them with the same vigor as one who is hungry.

It is important for parents to actively make their children aware that life is not always going to be a bed of roses. The more parents molly coddle their children the harder it is for these individuals to live a happy and fulfilled life. It becomes clear when something bad finally happens that creating a safe illusion of life is not always wise.

It is the parents responsibility to ensure that their children do not succumb to the evils that are part of the world. However, this should not negate the fact that there is also good. Harnessing the power of good can in a way assist with bringing up more aptly equipped and socially friendly individuals. Sadly, there are vast environments which often help to create a breeding ground for violent individuals to exercise their cruelty on others.

People can use many excuses as to why they are not achieving the goals that they have set for themselves. However, it seems that with the right frame of mind does actually help people achieve. This world is about give and taken and knowing what your unique selling point is. The more you grumble the more you stumble.

People do not think that they will be affected by the disasters that befall others. There is a standing belief that bad things only happen to bad people. A naive view such as this is like poison arrow into societies heart. When people forget to take responsibility and share in the burdens of others and the planet they end up acting in a selfish manner.

Life is said to be about balance and maintaining this balance sometimes requires strong and hard measures to be taken. Controlling the way the world population is growing is important because most of the resources available seem unable to sustain every single individual. Therefore it seems only logical that people need to take more control in the way that they start out their family structures. There is no lack in education as the global village willingly provides information.

Most people are willing to fight for their human rights as they do not wish to have these rights violated. However, the planet can truly only sustain so much life before things get out of hand. It is not hard to find that there is much truth in this sentiment and things have to change.
